Informational Seminars will take place in two rooms within the L’Auberge property, the Chatsworth room and the Foyer of the Ballroom. See the property site map below for session locations.

Foyer Schedule

  • Join Jacob Acevedo, Mixologist with Louisiana-based company, The Cocktail Experiment as he gives a brief history of the whiskey sour, followed by discussion of tools needed, a live presentation of the cocktail being crafted followed by some trivia, and a brief survey.

  • Join Crown Royal Cultural Educator Briana Savage for a seminar dedicated to the rich history, intricate production process, and blending of Crown Royal Canadian Whisky. Enjoy a tasting of higher marks of Crown Royal while learning about the building blocks of this iconic blended whisky.

  • Join Bruce Joseph from Hotaling & Co. for a discussion of the history and production of Old Potrero Rye Whiskey, the first US craft whiskey and Hirsch Bourbon. Also a sampling of examples of both whiskies.

  • The resurgence of rye whiskey reflects a broader interest in traditional spirits and a desire for authenticity and diversity in the beverage industry. It represents a successful revival of a America’s historic spirit that continues to captivate whiskey enthusiasts and newcomers alike.

  • Join Christian Wihoft of Still Austin for a mock single barrel selection! We will taste through 5 different Rye barrels, discuss the different nuances of them all and come to a conclusion as to which is the best of the 5 samples! This will be a sensory and hands on experience that you don't want to miss.

  • K.LUKE Whiskey Company small batch blends are created by sourcing from several different distilleries in Kentucky and Indiana with different mash bills up to 36% rye and a variety of ages. Join Jonathan Maisano to hear about the K.LUKE blending process while you enjoy 3 previous Barrel Strength Bourbon offerings.

  • Join J.D. Whittemore as he explores the Penelope Bourbon brand. We will take you through the story and share the spirit, including some of our special finishes.

  • Join J.T. Meleck founder and owner, Mike Fruge as he takes guests through the origins of how J.T. Meleck became the first distillery to craft grain to bottle 100% rice whiskey American style.
